FAQs
-
Yes, deposits are essential to secure your booking - no booking will be confirmed without one. This will be taken off the total amount of the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable.
-
If you need to rearrange, please contact me as soon as possible. You may move your appointment and transfer your deposit one time only, provided I have one week's notice. Deposits are non-refundable.
-
Avoid the sun in the lead-up to your appointment, as I cannot tattoo sunburnt skin. Make sure you are well-rested, eat a big breakfast, and drink plenty of water. Wear comfy clothes that do not obstruct the area I will be tattooing or that you don’t mind getting ink on. Fruit is also great to snack on during the day to keep your energy levels up. Booking a day or two off work after your tattoo will also benefit you if you’re in for a long sitting.
-
Designs are done for the day of your appointment, but I allow time on the day if any minor changes are needed.
-
I will do this to avoid any irritation to the skin, but you can give the area a trim if needed.
-
I do not allow the use of numbing cream as it doesn’t last all day and, once it wears off, the pain can feel a lot worse as your body has not had time to get used to the tattooing. Some creams also affect the skin, which can result in a harder heal.
-
You will be emailed my aftercare steps after your tattoo, but please feel free to ask any questions if you have them.
-
I recommend waiting a bare minimum of 4 weeks before going away to allow your tattoo to heal. I’d also suggest wearing high-factor sun protection to prevent any fading.

Please let me know what medication you are on, as most of the time people are still able to get tattooed. In rare instances, I may need you to seek clarification from your GP beforehand.
